CITB approved, in-house training centre

The past two decades have brought great change to the demolition industry in terms of more rigorous health and safety and environmental regulations, and we can anticipate even stricter legislation in the future. It is therefore more important than ever to ensure that management and staff are properly trained in the latest demolition techniques, quality control systems, safe working practices and environmental regulations (including: Asbestos, COSH and of course First Aid).

Reigart is fully committed to providing high quality Health & Safety training for all employees to ensure that all of our operations are carried out in the safest possible manner. We are long-standing members of the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and National Demolition Training Group which gives the  company access to high-quality staff training programmes including Demolition Operative Safety Awareness and Demolition Supervisor qualifications. and we carry out all of our training in conjunction with them. We operate our own in-house CITB approved training centre where we conduct regular briefings on changing legislation, as well as technical courses approved and registered with the CITB, WAMITAB and the National Federation of Demolition Contractors (NFDC). We are constantly developing our staff, and each year we make sure that everyone receives the training they need on new equipment and procedures in areas relevant to their developing roles within the company.

All employees have the relevant Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) competency cards which apply to the demolition industry. Our personnel department maintains a detailed training matrix for all employees, ensuring the appropriate members of our team are allocated to specific jobs for which they possess the correct experience and Health & Safety Training.
