Groundworks: Let Reigart take care of the groundwork
We regularly carry out groundworks on behalf of our clients to make sure that development sites are presented in an optimal condition for redevelopment.
Sites may have been left uneven following previous demolition woks, or may need levelling or re-grading to accommodate a change of use. Whatever the condition of your site, whether it be on a steep incline or in need of up-filling, Reigart has the experience, the plant and the expertise to properly survey the area, apply the appropriate mix of on-site recycling and groundworks, and ensure that the site is appropriately prepared for construction.
We have experience working on large, complex redevelopment sites and can undertake all of the following activities as part of a programme of groundworks:
- Crush and recycle demolition material into engineering grade aggregates on-site or at one of our recycling centres
- Excavation and stockpiling top soil
- Cut and Fill subsoils and clays to create a new site profile
- Supply the necessary surveyors and ground engineers
- Plot and mark development plots and roads for follow on development
- Commission topographical surveys to chart and record progress
- Supply and compacting crush material as sub-bases for new roads
- Install or divert field drains to keep the site free from surface water.
Reigart Contracts Ltd is centrally located in Coatbridge in Lanarkshire and is delighted to undertake groundworks at sites throughout Scotland. We can also supply engineering grade recycled aggregates to help up-fill sites where required. To find out more contact the Recycling Department today on 01236 431290
